Modern Bridal Studio was created in 2007 with the desire to bring luxury on location makeup and hair services to the Washington DC area. With an esthetic of modern, clean beauty and a love for flawless hair and makeup in photos the vision was born.  We have had the pleasure of creating natural beauty for over1000+ brides in the last decade, so we know how to make the pictures look elegant and lasting the test of time.

We are so honored to have a team of 25+ amazing pro bridal artists on staff for 2024 and beyond.

The owner Carolyn has so much experience in many areas of the beauty industry. She was a staff makeup artist for a national news network for over 15 years and regularly performs grooming for the nations capital for television and other productions.

During the years she has naturally gravitated towards deeper integration of inner and outer beauty services. With a passion for Love, she has expanded to offering self love coaching which has the power to transform relationships very quickly. Her coaching practice and podcast is called The Heart Story sharing wisdom from a spiritual mindset to help others experience peace in their most intimate relationships.
